CORONAVIRUS UPDATE FOR PATIENTS

As the Coronavirus situation continues, Woodville Family Medical Practice remains committed to providing the best possible care and safety to our patients and practice team.

Our surgery is open and Doctors are available to discuss any health concerns. We are wanting patients to contact the surgery to book a phone consult before attending the surgery. Please phone 84452618.

If you have any concerns re exposure to Coronavirus please do not attend the surgery ,please ring the surgery and we will get a Doctor to return your call.

If you do not have history or travelling or exposure but have symptoms of a respiratory infection (sore throat, cough, fever, difficulty breathing) please advise our receptionists at the time of booking your appointment. We will then take every effort to ensure your safety together with the safety of others attending the practice. This may include being offered a telehealth appointment rather than attending the practice or remaining in your car and phoning the surgery when you have arrived.

You can decrease your chances of contracting any infections by:

  • Coughing or sneezing into the inside of your elbow
  • Washing your hands often with soap and water
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick

The team at Woodville Family Practice is here to ensure that you are provided with the best possible care. We are taking every precaution possible to ensure that all patients and staff are cared for in the best possible way.

We thank you for your cooperation at this concerning time.
